Travel Documents Travellers coming into Canda will require government-issued photo identification and proof of citizenship to enter Canada from an International Port of Entry. Passports are not required for travellers to enter Canada, but are recommended, even for Canadian citizens.
When re-entering the U.S., international travellers (NOT including U.S. and Canadian citizens) must have a current I94 form to cross into the United States. If you don't have this form, it is available at the Port of Entry, but you will be charged US$6. This can be paid ONLY in U.S. currency or travellers cheques (no debit or credit cards).
